Since arriving in Taiwan, Hsia, who has lived in Taiwan for over a decade, is a regular in our new immigrants' life adaptation classes. Hailing from Vietnam, Hsia possesses a bright and cheerful personality and has consistently participated actively in various activities, becoming an active new immigrant in Taiwan.
Distinct from many new residents who are typically reserved during class, Hsia actively participates in discussions with both her classmates and instructors, making a strong impression on everyone. In 2022, we used LINE communication app to share information about a new forklift license course, but Hsia discovered that registration had already closed when she tried to sign up. This year, we immediately notified her when registration reopened, assisted with her application, and provided a customized practice question bank for her exam preparation. She successfully passed the selection in August and was awarded a full government subsidy for related expenses.
